Grass Fire Contained Near Roseville

Firefighters contained a grass fire near Roseville Wednesday night. No one was injured in the blaze which officials named the Dyer Fire.

The fire started at 8:20 PM at Watt Avenue near Dyer Lane according to the Roseville Fire Department. This is near Baseline Road and north of Gibson Ranch County Park.

Cal Fire said the Dyer Fire expanded to about 120 acres due to the wind. It was contained by about 10:50 PM.
