“ELK GROVE, CA – On April 9, 2019, at approximately 3:04 p.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Campania Court regarding a burglary which had just occurred. The caller reported that three suspects had broken into his neighbor’s residence. The caller’s neighbor was home at the time but had run out of the house.

The caller went on to state he armed himself with a golf club and confronted the suspects inside the victim’s residence. A physical fight ensued between the suspects and the caller. It was later learned the caller was stabbed twice in the torso during the altercation. The caller told the dispatcher one of the suspects was armed with a gun. The suspects left the residence on foot in an unknown direction.
