Coffee Review: 18 Grams Coffee & Tea

The Specialty Coffee movement is alive and well in Elk Grove! With the opening of 18 Grams Coffee & Tea, the ownership mantra is, “We’re just two coffee lovers trying to bring the midtown feel to Elk Grove! Our coffee is locally roasted, each drink is carefully handcrafted, it’s the good stuff, no fluff.”

They nailed it. Inside and out 18 Grams looks and feels like the vibe you find in midtown Sacramento coffee world. Each piece of furniture is handcrafted and so are their beverages. Not only can you get a delicious handcrafted latte, cold brew, and quality cup of coffee, but they have a few unique beverages too! Matcha Lemonade, Thai Coffee, Sea Salt Cream Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea are just a few of their unique beverages.

Oh – they also have Gunthers Ice Cream. Wow!

18 Grams Coffee & Tea is easily accessible here. They join two other locally owned specialty coffee shops with Rescate Coffee and the Coffee Spot. Three specialty coffee shops in Elk Grove may just be the beginning of a movement!

They are open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Located at 9677 E. Stockton Blvd. Give them a try – you’ll be hooked.
