Comcast-Xfinity Service Outage Affected Many Sacramento Area Customers

A fire in North Highlands damaged fiber lines and caused a Comcast-Xfinity service outage for at least 2,500 residents in Sacramento and surrounding areas on Wednesday.

The outage affected TV, internet and phone service for customers as far as Davis and Roseville.

Services Restored

Numerous outages were reported starting around 11 AM.

Reports show Xfinity service restoration was completed around 5 PM on Wednesday evening.
