Relay for Life Kickoff

The Elk Grove Relay for Life kickoff on January 17 is the “party” to start this amazing community event. Find out about the event, sign up for teams, and much more!

The Elk Grove Relay for life is a 24 hour event on May 20-21 from 9 am to 9 am at Joseph Kerr Middle School. This is the 16th year in Elk Grove. They generally have about 300-400 particiapants and this year’s monetary goal is $55,000. This money goes to fund programs for cancer patients and their families. Some of these programs are Road To Recovery which provides rides to treatments and doctor appointments and Look Good, Feel Better for women who have undergone treatment and are dealing with a change in their skin and hair.  

They are also looking for help on the Event Leadership Team.
