Suspect Sought For Bank Robbery At Golden 1
Golden 1 Bank on Bruceville Road was robbed today at 3:25 p.m. in the afternoon. The Elk Grove Police Department are asking for the public’s help in apprehending the suspect.

ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for a bank robbery that took place at the Golden 1 Credit Union located at 9600 Bruceville Road.
On June 27, 2018 at 3:25 p.m., the suspect (photo below) approached a teller and handed them a note demanding money and indicating that he was armed. Fearing for his safety, the teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The subject took the money then exited the bank on foot. According to a witness, the suspect was last seen walking south through the parking lot.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian male adult, forty to fifty (40-50), six feet tall (6’0”), approximately two hundred pounds (200). The suspect was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, with a blue t-shirt underneath, a straw hat with a dark colored band and blue
jeans.

Calls to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
