Kung Fu Tea Comes to EG!

Kung Fu Tea Comes to EG!

Boba, tapioca pearls, bubble tea. Whatever you call it, this is perhaps one of the most popular drinks in Elk Grove. Who wouldn’t love delicious tea mixed with sticky tapioca pearls? When we heard that Elk Grove was getting a new boba place, we couldn’t help but be excited! Located off of Stockton Boulevard, this worldwide chain is sure to be a great new edition to the Elk Grove family.

We decided to go to their soft opening, so we waited in line for about 20 minutes before ordering. Considering there were so many people, we hardly waited to receive our drinks. The service was fast and the place was clean. There are plenty of seats, so you could absolutely spend an afternoon playing cards. The team took our order without hesitation. I was very impressed considering it was only their soft opening. But how were the drinks??

Mango Green Tea with Mango Popping Boba

Our first drink was light and refreshing. The mango flavor was natural and the popping bobas were subtle. If you like fruity drinks, this is a great drink to try. I imagine having this on a warm sunny day. Perfection!

Cocoa Cream Wow Cap

Imagine someone took a creamy popsicle and let it melt into your cup. That’s what this delicious drink tastes like. The milk cap creates a thick texture which mixes well with the chewy boba balls. This is extremely sweet and would be an excellent dessert on any kind of day.

Kung Fu Honey Tea with Mango Jelly

This tea was my favorite! Their signature honey tea is perfectly sweet and refreshing. The jelly is bursting with flavor and requires minimal chewing. Like most boba shops, they have different kinds of jelly. I highly recommend this tea!

Rosehip Milk Tea

If you’re looking for something that tastes like a cherry blossom, look no further! This pink drink is sweet and floral. It is a thick sip and will satisfy your sweet tooth. This one was a favorite among my party.

Thai Tea with Boba

This is not your average Thai tea. For one thing, there is no dye so it is not the iconic orange we are used to seeing. This is their signature recipe, and it shows. The tea is sweet, but not overpowering. If you love Thai tea, you will love this!

Overall

Kung Fu Tea is an excellent edition to the Elk Grove tea collection. With delicious teas, great service, and a large variety, you are sure to enjoy this great boba shop. Give them a try and let us know what you think!!
