Sacramento based event promoter,Beers In Sac,” is returning to the festival scene after a two-year halt in public gatherings due to Covid-19 restrictions withElk Grove Brewfest,” at Elk Grove Park located at 9950 Elk Grove-Florin Rd on Friday April 15.

In partnership with The City of Elk Grove, Beers In Sac will also join forces with City of Refuge Sacramento, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the lives of those living in marginalized communities. Moreover, proceeds will assist COR in offering services that help with homelessness; at-risk youth; domestic violence; human trafficking and workforce development.

“We are proud to partner with an amazing local non-profit as the beneficiary,” Misty Alafranji, Co-Owner of Beers In Sac said, “These types of donations help keep City of Refuge programs alive and much needed housing needs supported.”

“They have a true heart for people and for authentic transformation, and provide the tools and programs to help make that transformation possible.

Since 2016, Beers In Sac has been bringing people together throughout the Sacramento region and beyond through their passion for craft beer. To that end, in the midst of a rapidly growing movement, they saw the value in creating Elk Grove Brewfest.

“The Craft Beer Scene in Elk Grove (and greater Sacramento) was booming in 2016!  Beers In Sac wanted to create a local event to celebrate that! What better way to throw a community event than to have it support a great cause, and another way to give back to the community.”
