Rooftop Macarons Celebrates Sweet Grand Opening

Rooftop Macarons, located at 8876 Vintage Park Dr., celebrated their grand opening event on August 7 and featured a festive lion dance performance by the, “Kim Quang Lion Dance” team.

In addition to the variety of macaron flavors, the Vietnamese-owned store aims to introduce the community to a diverse lineup of coffees, teas and treat options as well.

Unique Menu Options

Upon entering the store, customers are met with an array of choices, mouthwatering displays, and a brightly lit environment. Sweet and savory macaron parings of Salted Caramel and Lemon Raspberry were alongside Ube Cakes for a couple of store favorites.

“We offer a menu with 20 plus flavors; something we offer is personalized macarons where you can print a logo, design, or photo. The possibilities are endless”

-Nancy Le, Store Manager

All drinks are available in different sizes with varying toppings such as boba, jelly, and seeds. In addition, there are nondairy options of oat, almond and soy milk.

The colorful lions are said to bring good luck and fortune. To that end, the welcoming the sight of song, and dances were a lively opening to the shop. Trained students performed techniques to the beats and captivated the audience.

” It is believed that loud noises of the gong and drums scare away bad fortunes and welcome good fortune.”

-Nancy Le, Store Manager

They emphasize the importance of connection to culture and expression and support local stores like Rooftop Macarons.

Overall Environment

Spatially, there’s plenty of seating room open to big groups and individuals. The walls are covered in macaron related art, decorated thoughtfully with sculptures. In conclusion, everyone venturing through during the event partook in the fun and festivities. One patron was happy to see more locally owned Vietnamese stores in the area.

“Businesses in the pandemic suffered greatly from store closures so it’s an easy decision to come out and support new openings”
