Cosumnes Community Services District is kicking off the summer 2023 season with free “Fitness in the Park,” an instructor-led outdoor fitness class held at Morse Community Park every second and fourth Saturday of the month, which will run through August.

Classes will take place at 8:00 AM on the basketball court, and are taught by certified coaches. Some of the classes offered this summer are: COREFit: Strength & Conditioning; XTreme Hip-Hop and Yoga/Pilates. Additionally, classes are open to all ages and fitness levels.

“We want to encourage healthy lifestyles and getting outside,” Recreation Instructor for Cosumnes CSD, Liz Rodriguez said.

“Our hope is to bring the community together by making fitness fun and accessible to everyone.”

“We want our community to know Cosumnes CSD has a variety of quality adult fitness classes for all fitness levels, Rodriguez said.”  “Our free outdoor fitness classes will highlight the classes we currently offer.”

“We want you to get out of your comfort zone, try something new and enjoy our beautiful parks while doing it!”
