Local Community Leaders Host Meet & Greet At Ha Noi Pho
Meet & Greet
On Monday June 11, local politicians hosted a Meet & Greet at the new Ha Noi Pho restaurant in Elk Grove. The hosts were Elk Grove Unified School District Board Member Bobbie Singh-Allen, California Assembly Member Jim Cooper, Elk Grove City Council Member Stephanie Nguyen, and Vice-Mayor Darren Suen. Also present was Koi Rivers, a CSD candidate running in the upcoming November election.
It’s nice to be able to attend events and just get to know and break bread with local community leaders. I liked getting to talk to everyone. Furthermore, it’s a very good thing for our community’s leaders to actually want to get to know their constituents.
Attendees were treated to Thai tea and a few good wines. Also, a good amount of tasty food was served. Guests enjoyed egg rolls, chicken wings, Vietnamese beef stew (Bò Kho) served with French bread, and Vietnamese chicken salad.
It was definitely a networking event. I personally enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My family and I had a great time. My girls were happy with the egg rolls, chicken, and French bread. Let us hope that local politicians and community leaders hold more Meet & Greet events in the future.
By the way, the Vietnamese beef stew or Bò Kho at Ha Noi Pho is off the hook. Make sure to try it with fresh French bread.
