Can you believe that Dust Bowl Brewing Company is open? Elk Grove is become a destination for craft breweries. The execution of this place truly makes this venue astounding. The interior of the establishment is impressive as the outdoors area. Expect to come here for group gatherings to try out the brews or for a quick bite. This is a solid addition to Elk Grove’s beer scene.

What can go wrong with beer? Nothing when you have a great selection with tasty beers that go a long way. As a beer aficionado and maker, I truly enjoy the beer here. The stout and the hazy IPA were especially tasty. The beers are from the Turlock brewery and make their way up to Elk Grove. The beers are very good that variety in offerings. There are even some seltzer-style offerings as well which are trendy at the moment. I truly enjoy the beer here and will be coming back for more. They have so many beer options on tap. Don’t be afraid to ask to sample them.

Food
The food offerings come from a small kitchen, located in the rear of the establishment, offering some tasty goodies. It’s separated from the operation of the taproom. The food options are quick but good bites that pair well with the beer offerings. Don’t expect the grand selection of food like other venues; expect just good food. Among the noteworthy items, I noticed a Filet “O” Chris Fish Sandwich, a House Burger which looked tasty, a few salads, and a variety of flat breads, and typical bar food such as nachos, a Bavarian pretzel, fries, chicken tenders, and tacos. I was focused on trying the beers, but I will be back to try the food.

Overall, this is definitely an awesome new spot establishment in Old Town Elk Grove. It adds to the appeal of being in Old Town Elk Grove. I will definitely come here more often as I truly support the expansion. The outdoor area is really comfortable even in the cold. I look forward the hanging out here during the summer evenings as well. The interior is modern and roomy. Expect this place to be always busy. The seating area inside is a nice variety of tables and bar areas as well as communal tables. For a new venue in Elk Grove; moreover, Old Town Elk Grove, I am astonished by the level of execution of creating this place.
