Sheldon Inn Restaurant & Bar Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary

Sheldon Inn Restaurant and Bar celebrated it’s 30th anniversary last weekend. This local gem is housed in a historical building dating over 100 years old. Chefs Doug and Barbara Silva founded “Silva’s Sheldon Inn” in 1988 and it is currently operated by new owners Jeffery and Jona Adkins. The Adkins Family Vineyards is located in Wilton with over 20 acres of vines and is featured at the restaurant.

Cheers to 30!

The special event on Monday August 6th was sold out in advance. Those in attendance were treated to live music, by The Why Nots, wine tasing featuring Rombauer, Adkin’s Family Vineyards, Ancient Peaks, Renwood, Morgan, Balverne, Binz & Jermy Wine CO, photo booth and small bites. Local Elk Grove Council Members, Mayor Steve Ly, Vice-Mayor Darren Suen, Stephanie Nguyen, Pat Hume, and Steve Detrick were all in attendance.
