81 Year Old Killed By Drunk Driver While Watching The Game
In an unbelievable event, a car crashed through a Rancho Cordova home on Sunday afternoon. This incident occurred while the family inside sat together enjoying the San Francisco 49ers versus Green Bay Packers game. In a matter of moments, the family went from watching the game to having a car in their front room pinning family members beneath it.
Driver Arrested
Gary Circle, the 45 year old driver of the vehicle, was arrested by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office for drunk driving. Also, he had two passengers in the vehicle with him, a 4 year old and a 12 year old. Finally, reports state that Circle and the two passengers did not sustain serious injuries.
When the car careened into the home located at Coloma Road and Georgetown Drive. As a result, it killed an 81 year old woman named Janice Williams who was watching the football game with her family. The family is devastated by the loss of the matriarch. Also, Williams was known to be an avid dog lover, reader, and blog writer.
Two other family members, Dan and Lorrie Williams, were also injured in the crash. Moreover, one was held in the Intensive Unit Care at UC Davis Medical Center.
While the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has not released much information, it has been reported that Circle is known to law enforcement. He has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
