The body of a man was found on Wednesday morning at a dairy farm located on the 9900 block of Arno Road in Galt, California.

The body was discovered in a pile of manure around 10:00 AM by an employee of the farm who was cleaning an area where manure and waste are stored. Manure and waste is used to spread across farm land, a routine practice that employees of the farm conduct a few times a year.

The identity of the man is not known. He is not an employee of the farm, nor is he linked to any known missing persons. At this time, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has ruled the death “suspicious” based on the location of the body. There are no other indications that the cause of death is homicide. The body was found clothed and did not appear to have endured any bodily harm.

Anyone with any information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office at (916) 874-5115.
