Wilton Woman Killed In Fatal DUI Collision
A 32 year old woman from Wilton was killed in a fatal DUI-related collision. The two-car accident occurred in South Sacramento this past Sunday evening, January 31, 2021.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman’s vehicle was a 2003 Toyota Corolla. Unfortunately, the vehicle overturned during the collision. The fatal accident occurred at 10:25 PM at the intersection of Florin Road and Bradshaw Road. This is north of the town of Vineyard. (Also, it should be noted that the area was under a storm and wind warning). At that time, a 37 year old man from Sacramento was approaching Florin Road in a 2021 Toyota Tundra. Witnesses reported that both vehicles entered the intersection. Consequently, the driver of the Toyota Corolla failed to stop for a red light.
The Toyota Tundra crashed into the passenger side of the Corolla. Subsequently, it caused the Corolla to overturn. It stopped at a dirt field, southwest of the intersection.
Not Wearing Seatbelt
The driver of the Corolla was not wearing her seatbelt. Furthermore, she suffered fatal injuries. Sadly, she died at the scene. The driver of the Tundra was wearing a seatbelt, he suffered from minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
Police stated that alcohol and or drugs were suspected in this fatal collision. The 32 year old Wilton woman who was killed in the collision was identified as Miranda Blair Gramlich.
