With being a place to spend hours at, they offer so many local items from the bakery, coffee, food, and snacks. You can come in for a little while or stay a long time with their offerings from their kitchen. For sure, come in for coffee and books.

Play Area
I thought this was the coolest area for families as kids love this. My niece stayed in here for an hour playing while I sipped on coffee and read a book. Super cool!

Background
Emily is a Long-time Alaskan turned Californian who is a parent of several children, a child of a librarian, and an awesome entrepreneur that is community-oriented. Emily started her journey with a dream of having a bookstore that was engaged in the community. This dream became reality as she started popup events for A Seat at the Table Bookstore in 2019. As time went on, the pieces came together as the online store was established in 2020 during the pandemic. Eventually, a perfect place was available so Emily took her business into a brick-and-mortar store.
