Daiso Holds Grand Opening In Elk Grove
Daiso held a Grand Opening celebration the weekend of March 11 and 12. On both days, Daiso gave away free gift bags to the first 100 customers with minimum $30 purchase. Doors opened at 10 AM. With a line down the block, excited customers waited patiently in line for a free gift bag and their turn to peruse the new Daiso store.
The new Daiso is located in Elk Grove Commons in the same shopping center as Trader Joe’s and Kohl’s. It’s location off of Elk Grove Boulevard and Bruceville Road makes it very convenient for local patrons to stop by. Daiso Elk Grove is open from 10 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday.
During the festivities on Saturday, Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen was on hand for the ribbon cutting. She also presented an award from the California State Assembly to Daiso in recognition of their dedication and service to the City of Elk Grove.
We spoke to excited patrons who seemed happy to be at the Grand Opening.
“I think Daiso is a great store. It’s great for buying cute knick knacks and gifts and my kids love the snacks and drinks. I’m sure I’ll be here often. ”
