Man Arrested In DUI Accident

On Sunday night July 15, an accident near Old Town Elk Grove sent two individuals to the hospital. Elk Grove police arrested Austin Crownover, 27, of Elk Grove at the scene.
The accident happened at the intersection of Elk Grove Boulevard and Adams Street around 7:30PM. Two people were reported injured, one with life threatening injuries. They were transported to an area hospital.
Elk Grove Boulevard was closed off for a few hours. Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and are still investigating.
