Elk Grove Tribune has included a breakdown of the donations received by candidates Mayor Steve Ly, EGUSD Trustee Bobbie Singh-Allen, and Brian Pastor. This breakdown is for 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Donation Summary
In 2019, Mayor Steve Ly received $130,018 in monetary donations. In 2020, Mayor Steve Ly received $140,486.34, as stated by the September 19, 2020 Campaign Disclosure Statement. However, that number is expected to rise.
In particular, citizens will be interested to note that $50,150 of Ly’s campaign donations for the 2020 election come from CNU related people, including CNU President Dr. Alvin Cheung and Katherine Yang Vice President of CNU Academic Affairs.
In 2020, EGUSD Trustee Bobbie Singh-Allen received $124,716.00 in monetary donations as stated by her September 19, 2020 Campaign Disclosure Statement. It is also expected that this number will rise.
Brian Pastor has not received monetary donations, according to the City Clerk’s Office.
