On May 7, Mayor Steve Ly, alongside other organizations, held a ceremony announcing the donation of protective medical supplies for healthcare workers at Methodist Hospital, the Elk Grove Food Bank, and to 15 senior care centers. As Elk Grove and the rest of Sacramento County continue staying under lockdown, the need for face masks, sanitizers, and other supplies are in great demand. These items will go a long way in keeping citizens and medical workers safe from coronavirus.
