Creekside Church & Shining Star Pre-school & Kindergarten Evacuated

Creekside Church and Shining Star Pre-school and Kindergarten on East Stockton Boulevard were evacuated this morning after a suspicious package was found.

The Elk Grove Police Department confirmed via social media and phone that a suspicious package was found on the campus. The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit determined that the package found is not explosive. The Elk Grove Police Department is investigating how the package got onto the property in the first place.

All activities at Creekside Church and Shining Star Pre-school and Kindergarten are expected to resume as usual on Tuesday April 10.
