Elk Grove Police Seek Help In Apprehending 2 Suspects In WinCo Parking Lot Shooting
2 Suspects In Shooting Sought
The Elk Grove Police Department is requesting that the public help locate the two suspects involved in the shooting of a 15 year old teen last Friday December 28. Therefore, pictures of the suspects were released by the police on Saturday.
The teen walked with his friends towards their car in the parking lot of WinCo. The suspects drove by in a white Toyota sedan and shot the 15 year old. Afterwards, they then fled the parking lot in their white Toyota sedan.
The primary shooting suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 20-30 years of age. He wore a black and gray hooded sweatshirt with the words “Cali” on the front, black shoes, and black sweatpants.
The second suspect is described as a Hispanic or Caucasian male between 20-30 years old. This suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a red, white and blue logo on the front, blue jeans and black shoes.
Officer Jason Jimenez, spokesman of the Elk Grove Police Department, indicated that the teen did not know the suspects. Obviously, the fact that a minor was shot in a blatant manner is of great concern to our community.
Anyone with any information regarding this shooting or the two suspects should contact the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8080 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357).
