Elk Grove 2019-20 Winter Sanctuary At Elk Grove United Methodist Church
For those needing a safe, warm place to stay this winter, the Elk Grove Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) is set to operate its Winter Sanctuary at Elk Grove United Methodist Church. HART will offer the program for its seventh year.
The program will also offer support provided by Sacramento Self Help Housing, Elk Grove Food Bank Services, and the City of Elk Grove.
Free Services for Homeless
Elk Grove HART Winter Sanctuary is a free program serving Elk Grove’s homeless men and women.
Winter Sanctuary provides overnight housing, dinner, and breakfast at one of the participating local churches.
Registration
The program will offer this year’s services every night between December 8, 2019 to February 29, 2020 (12 weeks) at Elk Grove United Methodist Church (EGUMC).
Participants must register nightly between 5:30 and 6 PM at EGUMC at 8986 Elk Grove Boulevard. HART advises participants not to arrive earlier than 5:20 PM.
