Homicide In Elk Grove: Male Victim Succumbs To Wounds
A homicide occurred last night in Elk Grove. The shooting happened at 10:30 PM Saturday night, September 4, 2021. The Elk Grove Police Department responded to a shooting at the 3400 block of Laguna Boulevard. Upon their arrival, police learned that an adult man who had a gunshot wound had been taken to a nearby hospital. The man had later died from his injuries at the hospital. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is in the process of notifying the victim’s next of kin. They will release the identity of the victim once the family has been notified.
A second adult man had also arrived at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Police are still investigating what led up to the shooting. They do not have a description of the suspect at this time.
