Trey Devaughn Hallman was arrested for an early morning shooting at a residence, once rented by former Sacramento Kings player Willie Cauley-Stein, in Sacramento today.

Sacramento Sheriff’s Department responded to the shooting after a call described several people getting shot inside a home. When deputies arrived at Clover Ranch Drive around 5:30 am, they discovered five men in the home, three of them victims of the shooting.

One of the victims sustained life threatening injuries and two non-life threatening injuries. Two other occupants were uninjured.

Deputies conducted a search of the home and found a handgun on the property. When describing the suspect, victims told deputies the suspect was armed and wearing a bulletproof vest.

Hallman fled the scene before deputies arrived and was thought to be heading to the Bay Area. He was found in Antioch, CA, however, and taken into custody.
