Multi-Modal Facility Open House

Join the City of Elk Grove on Wednesday, August 2 for a Community Open House to learn about a potential multi-modal facility in Elk Grove. A multi-modal facility connects transportation services such as commuter and intercity rail, bus rapid transit, regional and local buses, and light rail at a single location. It can be accessed by transit, bicycle, pedestrian, or automobile. Types of facilities can include shared platforms, bus shelters, kiosks, or a station. Parking lots may be included for park-and-ride activity. These facilities can also include elements such as bike and pedestrian amenities including bike share programs to encourage active transportation.

Drop by any time between 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers, located at 8400 Laguna Palms Way, to ask questions and discuss ideas. A brief presentation will begin at 6:05 p.m.
