Suspect Arrested For Double Stabbing In Elk Grove

On Friday, April 19, Elk Grove Police Department responded to a double stabbing on the 9400 block of Dantley Court.

An adult male and adult female were found outside a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Immediate medical aid was provided to the two victims until the arrival of medical personnel. Both victims were taken for treatment at a local area hospital.

Officers learned that the suspect was a relative of the victims and were able to stop and detain the suspect, who left in a vehicle before authorities arrived on scene, as he was driving in the area. The officers identified the suspect as 24 year old Eric Mauck of Elk Grove.

Mauck was transported to Sacramento County Main Jail and booked for attempted murder.
