Arrest Made Near Terrazo Drive With Help From S.T.A.R.

Around 9:30 PM, Monday night, Elk Grove Police officers observed a reported stolen vehicle that was traveling on Whitelock Parkway, near Terrazo Drive.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the suspect refused to stop, leading the officers on a short pursuit. Officers soon stopped the vehicle, and attempted to arrest the suspect. However, the suspect took off running.

With the assistance of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Air Unit (STAR), the suspect was found hiding nearby and was detained.

The suspect was identified as 18 year old Sacramento resident, Daejon Ceasar.

He was arrested, transported and booked at the Main Jail on charges of motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, felony evading, and resisting arrest.
