Best of Elk Grove Competition Back On For 2018
On September 19th, Best of Elk Grove sent out and released a press release stating that due to the fact that they had been threatened with legal action that there would be no future Best of Elk Grove Competitions. Furthermore, in a sudden change of events, on October 10, Best of Elk Grove sent out a new press release stating that the parties involved in the legal situation had come to a resolution and the Best of Elk Grove Competition would resume in 2018.
2 Competitions For Businesses
Consequently, this same day Elk Grove Laguna Forums (Elk Grove Laguna News) announced that in the future they would run a Best of Business Competition with the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce. It seems that in the future, there will be 2 competitions in the City of Elk Grove. The new Best of Business Competition will run April 1-30, 2018.
Some residents have expressed their opinion that having 2 contests will be confusing. Other individuals have expressed doubts about whether Doc Souza, the owner of Elk Grove Laguna News, will actually be able to be an impartial judge given that he has participated in past competitions. Time will tell how well both competitions will be executed in the future and the number of businesses which will actually participate in each competition.
Next year there will be a lot of new developments in our city. Even without these 2 competitions, 2018 will be a very interesting year in the City of Elk Grove.
