Elk Grove Man Arrested For Home Made Explosives In Home

Elk Grove Police have arrested Edward Henderson, aged 47, the man who had an explosive device in his home. He was thought to have kidnapped his wife. They were found on Watt Avenue around 9pm last night. It was determined that the man did not kidnap his wife. His wife was unharmed.
Most noteworthy, the explosive device was live but it was found, handled, and removed. Therefore, all residents on this block who were evacuated were allowed to return to their homes.
Charges & Bail
Edward Henderson is now being held in Sacramento County jail. He is charged with felony possession of a destructive device, felony possession of the ingredients to make a destructive device, felony willful threat of crime, felony felon in possession of ammunition, and misdemeanor violating terms of probation. Consequently, bail is set at $510,000.
