Man Arrested After Surveillance Video Shows Him Stealing Bike

A resident of the Stonelake community in Elk Grove had her bike stolen recently. With the surveillance capture recorded on her Ring security system, she posted the video online, which generated responses.

Other community members recognized the man in the footage, and the resident as well as other community members forwarded the video and information to the Elk Grove Police Department.

The police arrested Cameron Peckham based on the video. A familiar face to EGPD, it is reported Peckham violated probation.
