Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit Multiple Times On Highway 99 In Elk Grove

A fatal traffic accident resulted in one pedestrian being killed on Highway 99 near Grant Line Road around 6 a.m. Sunday. As a result, two southbound lanes were closed for about three hours.

Pedestrian Hit By Multiple Vehicles

California Highway Patrol Valley Division responded to a driver report of an object on the road. Once CHP officers arrived it was determined that it was a person that was hit and struck by multiple vehicles.

No further information regarding the incident has been released as of yet.
