Police Apprehend Sacramento Robbery Suspects
The Sacramento Police Department apprehended four robbery suspects in Elk Grove Sunday after a pursuit began in South Sacramento and ended in Elk Grove.
The robbery occurred at the 1700 block of Highbridge Way in South Sacramento which is near the intersection of Cosumnes River Boulevard and Freeport Boulevard. Sacramento police responded approximately 4 PM.
A number of suspects fled on foot, but police continued to search for remaining suspects in Elk Grove.
The search was conducted in the Laguna West area, specifically at East Lake Drive and Babson Drive where the police set up a parameter. The Elk Grove Police Department assisted the Sacramento Police Department in apprehending the suspects.
Four suspects were taken into custody. However, one suspect is still at large. Consequently, police are still searching for the last suspect. This story will be updated as we receive more information.
