Elk Grove Auto Mall Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

Early Saturday morning, Elk Grove Police responded to a bomb threat made to the Ford dealership at The Elk Grove Auto Mall.

The auto mall was evacuated out of caution. EGPD conducted a search of the dealership and communicated to the public their findings via Twitter.

Nothing suspicious was found.

Police reported that the threat came through a voicemail message to them between 8:30 PM Friday and 9:30 AM Saturday.

The origin of the call is currently in investigation. No other information was released.
