Robbery At The New Chevron Gas Station In Elk Grove
The recently opened Chevron Gas Station on the 8400 block of Elk Grove-Florin Road was robbed early in the morning of July 23rd.
Around 2 AM, a male suspect entered the gas station with his hand wrapped in a sweatshirt resembling a handgun. At that time, the suspect demanded cash. The store employee, fearing for their safety, complied. The suspect fled the gas station on foot.
According to EGPD, the suspect was described as a Hispanic or an African American male wearing sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, shorts, and black shoes.
