On Thursday night, an 18 year old man and a woman were stabbed at a Wells Fargo on Florin Road, near Stockton Boulevard. The man was making a deposit after work around 10:00 PM when he and his aunt were approached by a homeless man.

Sacramento County deputies reported that there was a verbal altercation between the victim and the homeless man in the parking lot of Wells Fargo. The homeless man proceeded to stab the 18 year old man and his aunt.

Deputies reported that the man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man suffered from at least one stab wound. The woman is expected to survive from a non-life threatening stab wound to her lower body.

The homeless man, who was known to the  Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, waited at the scene for the police to arrive. He was arrested and taken into custody.

The sister of the slain man created a GoFundMe to raise funds for the funeral of the young man. Click on the link to support the family.

The Elk Grove Tribune offers our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of this young man.
